| Description: |
This is a team-based tailored course, using delegate owned material. The course provides Category Management core tools and techniques in modular format required to develop a Source Plan and/or elements of a
procurement strategy. Modules are facilitated using a highly participative and experiential approach using live data wherever possible. Analysis and outputs from the modules will be of direct use to the team. |
| Aim: |
To provide an overview of the whole Category Management process with a focus on stages 1-6 and, where appropriate to launch a Category Team. |
| Duration: |
5 days non-residential. |
| Pre-Requisites: |
A pre-meet will be needed in order to establish the team’s requirement. |

Whole teams, including Team Leaders, affiliates and/or other stakeholders as
appropriate. *Please note this course is not open to non-MOD delegates. |
| Objectives: |
By the end of the course delegates will: • Have a basic understanding of the
whole CM process;
• Have applied a variety of tools and techniques to live delegate owned data;
• Have the opportunity to present outputs, including initial options /
opportunities / potential benefits to key senior sponsors and stakeholders;
• Have feedback from senior sponsors and stakeholders on outputs. |
