Description:	This on-line course forms a part of the ILS Level 2 Licence ‘blended learning’ and build upon the knowledge gained from the ILS Level 1 Licence courses and workshops. It addresses the principles applicable to the assurance of a support solution using the Support Solutions Envelope. It also addresses how the coherence of the ILS programme across the relevant Key Support Areas may be achieved. Completion of this on-line course is an essential pre-requisite for attendance on the associated Support Solution Coherence & Assurance workshop (SSCA). This course is also available to those learners not involved in the ILS Licensing stream but who wish to further their knowledge in this area.
Aim:	The aim of this course is to provide the further Practitioner level e-learning based knowledge in the assurance process applied to a Support Solution and the coherence of that Support Solution that the learner requires for the ILS Level 2 Licence. This knowledge is directly linked to a workshop (Support Solution Coherence & Assurance) with an associated facilitated learning exercise.
Level 2 Licence Route:	• Be in possession of an ILS Level 1 Licence (those learners who have been granted the Level 1 Licence but have not completed ILS Practitioner Core Modules On-Line Training (ILSPCM) should have attended and gained an authorisation code from the ILS Learning Management (ILSLM) presentation); • Completion of ILS Level 2 Licence – Training & Training Needs Analysis On-line training (ILSTNO) plus the associated ILS – Training Management and TNA workshop (ILSTMT); • Completion of ILS Contract Management On-Line Training (ILSCMO) plus the associated ILS – Contracting workshop (ILSC); • Completion of Support Solution Assurance On-Line Training (SSAOLT) plus the associated Support Solution Coherence & Assurance workshop (SSCA); • Completion of ILS Level 2 Licence – In Service Support Management On-Line Training (ILSISO) plus the associated ILS – In-Service Support workshop (ILSISS). The four level 2 Licence courses listed may be taken in any order, however once a particular course has been started, it must be completed (including the workshops and associated facilitated learning) before another ILS course can be undertaken. Upon completion of the workshop and the associated facilitated learning for each course, the delegate will receive a pdf course certificate which can be used to support their future application for an MOD ILS Level 2 Licence. The TLSD Governance Board will also consider their wider experience and qualifications in assessing their readiness for Level 2 licensing.

Pre-Requisites:	None:- however, 1) All learners who are required to complete this course, including those who are not part of the Licensing Stream, will require an authorisation code from the ILS Course Manager. 2) Those learners who are part of the ILS Licensing stream will be required to complete any uncompleted ILS Level 2 Licence course before application for this course will be authorised.
