Suffix Stock

Description: Classroom based training for supply staff, which will give participants a working level understanding of suffix stock procedures.
Aim: To give participants a working level understanding of suffix stock procedures within supply management.
Duration: 0.5 days non-residential.
Pre-Requisites:

Catalogue Management (CATMAN), Demand Satisfaction & Stock Replenishment (DEMSAT), Reprovisioning (REPROV) and Methods of Procurement Within Supply (MOPS).

Designed For: Band E staff new to the supply discipline and experienced supply staff requiring refresher training
Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Define the six different categories of suffix stock;
• Outline the action taken following receipt of RJ61s and new arising prints (NAPs);
• List the additional outputs which assist with the management of suffix stock;
• Calculate suffix stock tasking requirements from given information;
• Describe suffix stock disposal procedures.
