| Description: |
An informal trainer led workshop which will provide delegates
with the Functional Competences of Supply Chain Management from a Maritime
Inventory Manager perspective. This course is Mandatory for Band E and D staff
NEW to Maritime Inventory Management within 12 weeks of joining their post. It
is Mandatory for staff involved in Provisioning, as financial powers will not be
delegated until the course has been completed and a post-course assessment on
Item Data, Provisioning, Demand Management, Procurement and Repair has been
successfully passed. This course also includes modules on Supply Alternatives (SUPPALT),
INDEPOL HTR & Templates (INDT), Global Assets Visibility (GAV), MONITOR Repair (MONREP)
and a WITS overview. It also includes a Ships visit and a Stores visit. |

| Pre-Requisites: |
Supply Chain Management pt1 – SCM Introduction (SCM1) course
attendance preferred. Please note: This course cannot be booked via HRMS. Please send a completed
application form to Admiral House Bristol. |

• The knowledge required to maintain the processes in accordance with the
current Job Instruction Sheets (JISs);
• Supply Chain Management Instructions (SCMIs) and Joint Supply Publication
886 (JSP 886);
• The role and tasks of the Maritime Inventory Manager. |
