Quality Assurance Practitioner (Part 1)
Course Code QAPT1
Description: A course that will give students, who have previous experience of Quality Assurance, further knowledge and understanding of the subject. Successful completion of this course and exam are pre-requisites for the Quality Assurance Practitioner (Part 2) (QAPT2) course.
Aim: To develop the knowledge and experience necessary for Practitioner level Quality Assurance Competences in MQ1 to 4.
Exam: Short exam based on the course material. Note: successful completion of the exam is one of the requirements for the MOD QA licence.
Duration: 2 days non-residential
Pre-Requisites: For non or new Quality Assurance staff - Quality Awareness On-Line Training (QAOLT). For existing Quality Assurance staff, there are no pre-requisites.
Designed For: Non Quality Assurance staff wishing to gain further knowledge of the subject, new Quality Assurance staff, and existing Quality Assurance staff who require a refresher.

Quality Assurance Practitioner (Part 1 & Part 2) (QAPT1) (QAPT2) are mandated for those wishing to become Licensed Quality Practitioners.

• The application of MOD quality requirements and constraints;
• The use of quality management techniques to mitigate risk;
• How to assess quality performance of suppliers;
• How quality management systems are defined and controlled.
