IPT Engineer - Post Cat 011

Description: Hands on classroom based training, which is intended to give delegates the skills necessary to carry out the LITS Business Procedures for Post Cat 011.
Aim: To give participants a working level understanding of the engineering aspects of the IPT function, including the implementation of Engineering Instructions. The progression, promotion and authorisation of reference data, the sponsorship and control of reference data.
Duration: 2.5 days  non-residential
Pre-Requisites: None
Designed For: All engineers within a platform or a commodity IPT
Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Discuss briefly the introduction of LITS into RAF service;
• Describe the basic operation of the Engineering Planning and Management System (EPMS) software;
• State the items of documentation available;
• Define LITS terminology relevant to PC;
• State basic security requirement of LITS;
• Demonstrate the system skills required to carry out the LITS Business Procedures for Post Cat 011.
