Negotiation Planning

Description:

This tailored event is aimed at Category and acquisition teams, uses a highly participative approach utilising live team data. It is suitable for teams approaching key negotiations. Delegates work on their own current negotiations.

Aim:

To provide delegates with the tools and techniques to undertake successful negotiations

Duration: 1 day non-residential
Pre-Requisites:

A pre-meet will be necessary in order to establish the team's requirement

Designed For:

Teams within the Acquisition Community who need to develop/enhance their negotiation skills. This module is particularly relevant during Implementation and Supplier Performance Management stages prior to key supplier negotiations. *Please note this course is not open to non‑MOD Delegates.

Objectives:

By the end of the course delegates will:

• Have reviewed negotiation planning techniques, in theory and practice, in a safe environment;
• Be equipped with the necessary tools to prepare and carry out successful negotiations;
• Have identified and planned activities to deliver the team negotiation strategy.
