Methods of Procurement Within Supply
Course Code MOPS
Description: Classroom based training for supply managers, to familiarise them with the various methods of procurement open to them.  This course is mandatory for all Band E staff who are new to the Supply Discipline and relevant to anyone who has a Supply Line Management responsibility.  This session is part of the consolidation exercise at the end of mandated courses. This module can be used as a refresher for all grades
Aim: To give participants a working level understanding of the methods and procurement processes within supply management
Duration: 2.5 days non-residential
Pre-Requisites: Catalogue Management (CATMAN), Demand Satisfaction & Stock Replenishment (DEMSAT), Reprovisioning (REPROV).
Designed For: Band E staff new to the supply discipline and experienced supply staff requiring refresher training

Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Outline the procurement process, RCAs and contract record creation;
• Explain the Demand Ordering System as well as other methods of procurement;
• Identify contract irregularities;
• Interpret and action progression outputs.
