Description:

This module can be run as a tailored event for Category Teams, acquisition teams or as an open module. The module is facilitated using a highly participative approach and utilises live team data. It examines the various techniques to enhance communication and influencing skills.

Aim:

To provide an understanding of the various tools and techniques available for influencing stakeholders.

Duration: 1 day non-residential.
Pre-Requisites:

For team based modules a pre-meet will be necessary in order to establish the team's requirement. No pre-requisites for 'open' modules.

Designed For:

Teams or individuals within the Acquisition Community who wish to develop/enhance their influencing skills. *Please note this course is not open to non-MOD delegates.

Objectives:

By the end of the course delegates will:

• Have an understanding of the tools and techniques and when to apply them;
• Know how to accelerate rapport and gain influence;
• Be able to use language effectively and ethically to influence outcomes.
