ILS Learning Management
Course Code ILSLM
Description: This is an interactive presentation/briefing which will explain all elements of the ILS Practitioner Programme; demonstrate how an ILS Practitioner should make progress through each of these elements; and explain how completion of the elements will contribute towards the achievement of the ILS Level 1 and Level 2 Licences. The learner support tools and learning resources will also be explained.
Aim: The aim of this briefing is to provide all the information a learner requires to embark upon the ILS Practitioner Programme. This will be achieved in an interactive session which will:

• Enable the learner to establish personal contact;
• Explain and illustrate the Programme and all its enablers and support tools;
• Enable the learner to be able to discuss his/her specific circumstances and how they will make their own way through the programme.
Duration: 0.5 days non-residential
Pre-Requisites: None
Designed For: MOD ILS practitioners embarking upon the ILS Practitioner Level Programme and working towards their ILS Licence.
Cost for Non MoD Applicants: The cost of this course is £140.00 excluding VAT. Details of payment options will be sent in a confirmation e-mail when you apply for the course.
Objectives: By the end of the workshop delegates will:

• Understand how the ILS Practitioner Programme is structured;
• Understand how he/she will be able to make progress through each programme element including:
   - The sequence in which elements must be completed for maximum value;
   - Where appropriate, those elements he/she must complete successfully in order to be able to move on to a subsequent element (for example a workshop).

• Recognise how completion of programme elements contribute to the achievement of the ILS Level 1 and Level 2 Licences;
• Be familiar with the learner support and learning resources available to those in the ILS Practitioner Programme and where to go for help and advice;
• Know the next step to take to commence their learning experience.
