| Description: |
This workshop is the fourth of a series in the Integrated
Logistic Support (ILS) Practitioner Level Programme. It is designed for MOD ILS
Practitioners working towards their ILS Level 2 Licence. It builds upon the
knowledge acquired via two on-line course modules which precede it and delegates
will be expected to complete an on-line facilitated learning exercise, in their
own time, after the workshop. |
| Aim: |
The aim of this interactive workshop is to instruct and practise
delegates in the evaluation of options and associated ILS contractual requirements for a variety of support solutions. |

| Pre-Requisites: |
• Successful completion of ILS – Training Management & TNA
(ILSTMT) Workshop and its associated Facilitated Learning exercise;
• Successful completion of on-line training modules “Tender Assessment” and
“Managing the Contract”. |

| Objectives: |
By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
• Explain how to identify the support system functional requirements;
• Describe the system functional specifications which would be appropriate to go
in the contract;
• Construct the support system functional specifications which go in the
contract;
• Explain the particular support requirements for a CLS programme;
• Explain the particular support requirement for a PPP programme;
• Explain the particular support requirements for a PFI programme;
• Explain the particular support requirements for an organic programme;
• Prepare an outline support solution to meet the requirements for CLS, PPP, PFI
and organic programmes. |
