Demand Satisfaction & Stock Replenishment

Description: Classroom based training for supply managers, to equip them with the skills to tackle the Demand Management element of their job.  This course is mandatory for all Band E staff who are new to the Supply Discipline and relevant to anyone who has a Supply Line Management responsibility. This session is part of the consolidation exercise at the end of mandated courses. This module can be used as a refresher for all grades.
Aim: To give participants a working level understanding of how to manage assets within supply management.
Duration: 1.5 days non-residential
Pre-Requisites:

Catalogue Management (CATMAN)

Designed For: Band E staff who are new to the Supply Discipline and experienced Supply Staff requiring refresher training.

Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Explain the demand satisfaction process;
• Describe stock replenishment;
• Outline the procedures and implications of:
               - Inabilities and Diversion Orders;
               - Degree of Control;
               - Alternatives.
