This module can be run as a tailored event for Category Teams, acquisition teams or as an open module. The module is facilitated using a highly participative approach using coaching models and the opportunity to
practice in a safe environment. It focuses on the use of questioning & listening skills, and building rapport. |

To provide an introduction to coaching as a means to improve individuals and team performance. |
| Duration: |
1 day non residential. |
| Pre-Requisites: |
For team based tailored modules a pre-meet will be necessary to establish the team requirement, otherwise no pre-requisites. |

Teams, Line Managers or individuals within the Acquisition Community who want to enhance their individual own performance and their development and that of their teams. *Please note this course is
not open to non-MOD delegates. |
| Objectives: |
By the end of the course delegates will:
• Understand what is meant by coaching and when it is
appropriate to apply it;
• Understand the skills required to optimise coaching;
• Understand the power of beliefs and the importance of values;
• Be aware of the various coaching models available;
• Know how to apply coaching techniques. |
