A unique workshop that brings together a mix of MOD and Industry Commercial and Purchasing Practitioners to share knowledge, experience and practice in a collaborative environment. |

To explore the changing role of the commercial, procurement and purchasing functions in MOD and Industry in relation to Risk, Reward and Remedy. |

As the workshop is designed for continuous professional development of practitioners applicants should have the requisite knowledge and experience to be able to fully contribute and participate in the workshop. |
| Designed For: |
Joint MOD and Industry practitioners working in a commercial, procurement or purchasing function. The central theme of the workshop is around Risk, Reward and Remedy and how it is viewed and treated by both MOD and Industry. The workshop provides those attending the opportunity to express and put into practice their ideas, tools and techniques in a controlled environment as well as providing useful insight, advice and feedback. |

There is no charge for non MoD applicants as the course relies
upon the sharing of knowledge and experience from all sectors of the market. |
| Objectives: |
By the end of the course delegates will be able to: • Discuss the environment
in which MOD and Industry commercial, procurement or purchasing functions now
operate and how it is changing;
• Discuss initiatives such as Defence Industry Strategy, More Effective
Contracting and their impact;
• Identify mutual understanding of risk, rewards and remedies;
• Develop (using a case study) an incentivisation package. |
