
| Wyton Training Centre
The Wyton training centre is located on the upper floor of Building 35, above the Skyways conference & restaurant facility and is open from 08:45 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and from 08:45 to 16:30 Friday. It is a purpose designed facility, consisting of seven course rooms and three syndicate rooms, most of which benefit from air-conditioning. The training rooms are well equipped with networked PCs, projection equipment and audio-visual equipment. The Wyton training centre is also host to a DbLearning satellite centre. Facilities include dedicated disabled parking, a lift, evac-chair, disabled toilets, a portable loop system and conference facilities for the hard of hearing. You will be welcomed into the Training Centre by a member of staff and given directions to the student lounge. This room is set aside for students to take their drinks and relax during the natural breaks of a course, although it will be necessary for smokers to smoke outside the Training Centre. The nearby towns of Huntingdon and St Ives are a short drive from Wyton and offer a wide range of hotels, shops, entertainment and sports facilities. RAF Wyton RAF Wyton is an operational RAF base and as such access to this unit is subject to strict security controls, anyone attempting to access the unit without the correct security passes or personal ID may be turned away.
