| Objectives: |
By the end of the course delegates will be able
to:
• Understand the different types of Contract Support
to Operations (CSO) and identify the appropriate support
solution to use; • Understand the differences between between
managing contracts and managing contractors, and the appropriate
processes and behaviours required;
• Identify optimum point for introduction of CSO to support
solution;
• Understand and manage the sensitivities around the use of
Private Security Companies;
• Distinguish between the responsibilities of the MOD and the Contractor in preparing to deploy ;
• State the reasons for designating CONDO under AFA 06;
• Understand the impact of deployed environment/OA on contracts 'Terms and Conditions and manage expectations;
• Differentiate between the Roles and Responsibilities of the
In-Theatre Sponsor and the Theatre CONDO management cell;
• Identify responsibilities for recovery of costs for use of MOD
facilities;
• Explain the implications of contractors moving between contracts
remaining in theatre;
• Illustrate the implications of not following the JSP 567,
DEFCON and DEFSTAN procedures. |
