| Description: |
This two day bespoke workshop is designed to
give delegates the opportunity to explore and examine and the various aspects of
Joint Working in an interactive workshop environment. By engaging in a process
of active learning, supported by subject matter experts citing real-life
examples, delegates will acquire useful knowledge about current recommended
policy, practice and beneficial results of joint working methods. |

To give delegates the opportunity to explore
aspects of Joint Working in an interactive workshop environment. To learn about
the current joint working recommended practices with a view to promoting and
implementing joint working processes at their place of work. |

2 days non-residential |
| Pre-Requisites: |
None. The workshop has
been developed to aid Projects/Programmes already working on, or about to
commence, joint commercial activities with their respective partners from
Industry and OGDs. Individual delegates who apply are assumed to require the JWW
training as part of developing their role in their current job responsibilities.

| Objectives: |
By the end of the Workshop delegates will be able to:
• Demonstrate an awareness of the various forms of Joint Working,
• Explain why joint working is important,
• Explain how different ‘drivers’ affect both MOD and industry behaviour,
• Describe the characteristics of good joint working,
• Explain the benefits to MOD, Industry, The ‘project’ and the Individual of
good joint working,
• Outline at least two recommended frameworks and guidelines for joint working,
• Outline the use of at least two recommended Joint tools and techniques,
• State some of the personal actions and/or skills that might be required and
used to ensure Good joint working.
• Outline the roles of at least two groups that can offer information, support
and guidance on the use of effective joint working methods. |
