A course in which personnel are introduced to the concept of Intellectual Property Rights and how these relate to Defence Acquisition. Please note that this course forms part of the foundation commercial training courses and therefore may not add value
to commercial staff, unless you wish to refresh your knowledge. |

Personnel who wish to gain an initial understanding of IPR. This course is not open to industry BUT delegates from UK government or trading agencies will be considered on a case by case basis. |

By the end of the course delegates will be able to: • Recognise the main types
of Intellectual Property encountered (i.e. Copyright, Patents etc.);
• Identify the statutory protection provided in respect of each type of
Intellectual Property. |
