Inventory Management Basic Awareness On-Line Training

Description: This on-line course is designed to provide Inventory Managers new to DE&S (and existing Inventory Managers who wish to refresh existing knowledge) with a basic awareness of the Inventory Management function across the Joint Supply Chain. It covers the Inventory Management subject matter from a tri-service perspective, focussing on those areas of common policy/process/impact etc, across the Air, Land or Maritime environment. It is also an essential pre-requisite for the Inventory Management Practitioner – Basic (IMPB) Workshop. All Inventory Managers are required to gain their Licence within six months of taking up post, and as such the questions contained within the licence will be based upon the content of both this e-learning course and the Inventory Management Practitioner – Basic Workshop.
Aim: To provide a basic awareness to Inventory Management for those new to the role.
Duration: 6 Hours Approximately.

Designed For: The Course is designed for learners who are:

a. New to Inventory Management, and should be completed within two months of being in post, and prior to attending the Inventory Management Practitioner – Basic Workshop;
b. Existing Inventory Managers who wish to refresh their knowledge;
c. Those who wish to raise their awareness of Inventory Management, irrespective of role.
