Course Code	HAZMAT
Description:	This course is designed to give students sufficient knowledge and understanding in the management, control and reporting of hazardous materials. The course explains: common terms, what needs to be controlled, current legislation and MOD policy regarding hazardous materials. There will be an opportunity to practice using the web based software application (HAZMAT) after a demonstration by the trainer. Students will be issued with an account by email which will include login details for both the training and live versions of the application, hosted on the RLI network.
Aim:	The aim of the course is to provide students with sufficient knowledge to understand the reasons for the control and reporting of hazardous materials and to introduce them to the Software Application that would enable them to do this.
Duration:	3 hours approximately. Non-residential.
Pre-Requisites:	None.
Designed For:	Anyone involved in safety and control of hazardous materiel.
